An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Pricing leadership team as a Senior Pricing Manager, focusing on the delivery of our key strategic objectives. We’re looking for a candidate who has extensive technical pricing experience and is keen to provide subject matter expertise and leadership across the pricing team. The role is hybrid, involving a mix of working from home and from our Halifax office.
What will I be doing?
- Collaborating with the Head of Technical Pricing and senior stakeholders to implement modelling and rating changes that improve loss ratio, risk selection, and business growth.
- Leading and developing a diverse team of pricing specialists; ensuring achievement of expected competencies and behaviours in line with company values, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement and agility.
- Enhancing pricing capabilities, establishing best practices, and ensuring proper governance and controls.
- Leveraging internal and external datasets, including broker-specific data, to improve predictive pricing models and achieve profit and growth goals.
- Representing Pricing in key forums as a subject matter expert, providing technical support and simplifying complex information for non-technical stakeholders.
- Maintaining expertise in Pricing and Data science tools (e.g., Willis Towers Watson Radar, SQL, Python, Databricks).
- Keeping up with market and technological trends to innovate and optimize existing practices and infrastructure.
