An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Compliance Team here at Covéa Insurance as a Compliance Business Partner. The Compliance Team plays a pivotal role in ensuring that the organization operates within the legal, regulatory, and ethical boundaries relevant to its industry. The role is a hybrid role, therefore will involve a mix of working from home and from our Halifax office.
What will I be doing?
- Ensure that all new and amended FCA requirements are identified, interpreted, assessed for impact and communicated accordingly.
- Conduct and support 2nd line monitoring which supports your business area to understand any risks or gaps that need to be addressed.
- Undertake and/or co-ordinate assurance activity to assess whether procedures are compliant with the regulatory requirements.
- Co-ordinate and oversee Corporate regulatory initiatives that span multiple business areas.
- Provide Compliance advice and guidance to areas of business on new products, new business opportunities, and changes to existing business relationships and products.
- Co-ordinate responses to FCA consultations, thematic work and routine enquiries.
- Horizon scan and provide relevant summaries and support to ensure your business area is fully equipped to meet any regulatory requirements.
- Engage with all lines of business, including attendance at committees, to assist them in delivering regulatory compliance and fair customer outcomes.

- Significant Compliance experience.
- A very strong track record of delivery of compliance initiatives within Insurance.
- The ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with management teams across the business.
- Compliance qualification or equivalent level of experience.
