We are looking for an experienced and energetic Venue Bar Manager to lead the bar operations at our busy entertainment venue – The Bayside. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys delivering outstanding customer experiences. The Bayside has a fresh new look for 2026 with an exciting new entertainment offering, it’s the perfect time to take the lead!
As Bar Manager, you will be responsible for managing daily bar operations, leading a team and ensuring the venue maintains high standards of service, safety, and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:- Role model the company values and behaviours at all times: Hospitality, Passion, Trustworthiness, Excellence, Stewardship, Kindness
- Oversee the daily operation of the bar within a high-volume entertainment venue
- Recruit, train, and supervise bar staff
- Ensure excellent customer service and guest experience at all times
- Manage stock control, ordering, and supplier relationships
- Monitor bar performance, sales, and budgets
- Maintain licensing laws and health & safety compliance
- Handle cash management, till reconciliation, and reporting
- Proven experience as a Bar Manager or Assistant Bar Manager in a busy venue
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Knowledge of licensing laws and responsible alcohol service
- Experience managing stock, budgets, and rotas
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and late-night shifts
