Hunters Quay is part of the Cove UK family, a holiday village just 1.5 hours away from Glasgow in the town of Dunoon, with panoramic views of Holy Loch.
We are a passionate, customer-centric business and our goal is to consistently deliver hospitality with excellence, as well as creating a safe, friendly and innovative environment for our guests to enjoy and employees to work in.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reporting into the Head Chef / Sous Chef
- Role model the company values and behaviours at all times: Hospitality, Passion, Trustworthiness, Excellence, Stewardship, Kindness
- You will need a passion for producing food to the highest standard
- The ability to follow food specifications
- To work adhering to all Food Safety and Policy Standards
- Be motivated to ensure our food and hygiene standards are consistently high
- Assisting in the preparation of menu dishes
- Maintaining high standards of hygiene
- Preparing the ingredients for the other Chefs in the team
- Measuring dish ingredients and portion sizes accurately
- Deal with deliveries and stock rotation
Experience/Skills Required:
- Chef experience
- Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Has a “can do” attitude
- Enjoy being part of a team
