Customer Service Officer

Responsibilities

  • Building rapport and trust with private banking customers and providing a seamless and positive experience.
  • Working in a supportive environment, advancing personal and career development.
  • Being flexible to work a rotating shift pattern.
  • Working mainly from home after training, with a minimum of one day per week at the Manchester office.
  • Handling customer queries promptly and referring to other teams where necessary.

Day‑to‑Day Tasks

  • Accurately completing processes and procedures.
  • Taking correct actions to deliver good customer outcomes, regularly reviewing their needs.
  • Dealing with customer queries in full and on time.
  • Updating customer information to maintain accurate records.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Experience delivering outstanding customer service in private banking or financial services.
  • Strong planning and organisational skills; ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Good numerical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Awareness of data protection, money laundering and FCA regulations.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
