Join us as a Wealth Manager. We’ll look to you to deliver exceptional client service while delivering profitable and sustainable business growth. You’ll be managing the investment needs of private banking clients and providing suitable wealth management advice. What you'll do:
- As a Wealth Manager, you’ll be managing a small or niche profitable portfolio of the most significant or most complex wealth investment clients, and delivering agreed activity, growth and business targets.
- You’ll also be profiling clients to understand their wealth investment requirements to make sure that the correct client outcomes are achieved.
- Undertaking the fulfilment of tasks relating to the onboarding and ongoing due diligence of clients in your portfolio.
- Making sure all reports, documentation and systems recording are technically accurate, compliant and provide suitable outcomes for the client, while adhering to internal processes and procedures.
- Ensuring the timely and appropriate resolution of the most ambiguous and complex queries for clients in order to build relationships and deliver a quality service.
- Creating and maintaining an environment where private banking colleagues are engaged and motivated to deliver the highest quality customer outcomes and other business objectives.
The skills you'll need:
- We’re looking for someone with a successful track record of delivering advice within a regulated environment.
- You’ll have high level knowledge and understanding of private banking and wealth management marketplace, clients, products and services, along with knowledge of the complex and ever-changing regulatory, legal and tax environment.
- You’ll hold an appropriate qualification in accordance with FCA Training and Competence handbook covering advice activity of securities, derivatives and packaged products, as well as a CISI Level 4 certificate, or equivalent.
- And you’ll also be professionally qualified to QCF level 6 through the CISI, and hold the PCIAM qualification.
- You’ll also demonstrate appropriate investment skills, including expertise in detailed client profiling, risk analysis and asset allocation, as well as being competent in presenting.
- The ability to articulate current views on the macro-economic environments and financial markets.
- Strong client relationship management skills.
- Proven competence in discussing advice pricing.
- The ability to build powerful relationships with internal and external centres of influence.
