Courtyard Health Clinic is a private GP practice founded by Dr Victoria McBride in 2025, based at Eskmills in Musselburgh. We deliver a membership model built around longer appointments, continuity of care with the same GP, and comprehensive annual health screenings. Our Enhanced+ membership gives patients the kind of primary care that the NHS simply cannot offer: unhurried, proactive, and personal. We are a small, ambitious clinic at the start of something significant. This is a start‑up environment, which means the structures are still being built, processes are still being refined, and the right person will see that as an opportunity rather than a limitation.
You will have a direct line to the founders, exposure across every part of the business, and the chance to shape how membership growth works from the ground up.
The Role
This is a pivotal role in the growth of Courtyard Health Clinic. As Membership Sales Executive, you will own the end‑to‑end journey of turning inbound enquiries into committed members. Enquiries will come from a range of sources, including social media, the website, referrals from existing members, and local partnerships. Your job is to take each prospective member through a consultative, empathetic process that helps them understand how Courtyard can support their health and their family. This is not a hard‑sell environment. Our membership is a considered decision for most people, and the sales cycle reflects that. You will need to listen carefully, understand individual circumstances, build trust, and guide people to a decision that is right for them. You will work directly alongside Dr McBride and the wider team, playing a central role in how the clinic grows and how the membership model evolves. In a small organisation, your impact will be visible and immediate.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all inbound membership enquiries from initial contact through to sign‑up
- Deliver consultative, needs‑based conversations with prospective members by phone, email, and in person
- Guide prospective members through the onboarding process, ensuring a seamless and professional experience
- Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective members, following up consistently and thoughtfully
- Work closely with the founder to refine the membership proposition and sales approach based on what you learn from conversations
- Contribute to the development of sales processes, CRM workflows, and reporting as the clinic scales
- Represent Courtyard Health Clinic with professionalism, warmth, and integrity at all times
- Collaborate with the marketing function to ensure lead generation and sales activity are aligned
- Provide regular updates on pipeline activity, conversion rates, and member feedback
About You
- You have experience in consultative or relationship‑led sales, ideally within healthcare, wellness, or a service‑led industry, or recruitment industry
- You are naturally empathetic and comfortable having sensitive conversations about health and family
- You thrive and are comfortable in a small, fast‑moving environment and are energised by building something from the ground up
- You are organised, self‑motivated, and comfortable managing your own pipeline without heavy oversight
- You communicate clearly and professionally, whether on the phone, by email, or face to face
- You are comfortable working with CRM systems (experience with HubSpot is a plus, but not essential)
- You are adaptable and resilient. In a start‑up, not everything will be polished, and you are the kind of person who rolls up your sleeves and finds a way
- You are comfortable being accountable for a sales result
What We Offer
- A basic salary of £25,000 to £30,000 with a realistic on‑target earnings of £60,000 through a transparent commission structure
- The opportunity to be part of a founding team and shape the growth of a healthcare business from the earliest stages
- Direct access to the founders, with genuine input into how the business develops
