A vacancy has arisen for a Care Team Leader to join the team to support the service manager by leading the day-to-day management of a shift. This will involve providing practical assistance and emotional support to empower their team in supporting the children they support to achieve their goals and aspirations.

About you

Successful applicants will need to have experience supporting children with complex health needs. As a member of the team, you will need a real passion for providing a high standard of support that enables our children and young people to be as independent as they can, learn and develop through education and experience, stay healthy and most importantly, have a fun, fulfilling life. You must be available to commit to working across a variety of shifts on a rota basis and it is essential you hold an NVQ Level 3 in Residential Children's Care or be working towards the qualification.

About The Service

Bluebell House is a brand new 6 bedded children’s home in Walsall, which provides support for children with a learning disability and/or physical disability. The home has a multitude of breakout spaces, including 2 activity rooms, a sensory room and two lounge spaces for if the children choose to have time alone. All bedrooms have en-suites and will be personalised and decorated with the children’s voice being the centre of these decisions, upon admission. Our aim is to ensure the children we support will have their voice heard and acted upon, to enable them to live their best potential and outcomes.
