Overview

This exciting position involves selling a market-leading range of exterior cladding and façade solutions.

It is a cradle-to-grave sales role with approximately 80% of the focus on securing specifications and building, developing, and maintaining strong relationships with architects, specifiers, façade contractors, housing associations, and main contractors.

You will manage projects from initial specification through to completion, working closely with distribution partners to ensure successful delivery.

There is a strong emphasis on re-clad and refurbishment projects across a range of commercial sectors, including hotels, healthcare, education, leisure, and student accommodation, covering the East and West Midlands.

This is an established territory with an existing project pipeline.

Responsibilities

  • Sell exterior cladding and façade solutions and manage projects from initial specification to completion.
  • Secure specifications and build, develop, and maintain relationships with architects, specifiers, façade contractors, housing associations, and main contractors.
  • Collaborate with distribution partners to ensure successful delivery of projects.
  • Prioritize re-clad and refurbishment projects across commercial sectors such as hotels, healthcare, education, leisure, and student accommodation.
  • Cover the East and West Midlands with an established project pipeline.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience selling to architects and specifiers.
  • Ideally pre-existing established relationships within building product sectors.
  • Backgrounds in external envelope products (e. g., roofing, cladding, insulation, steel framing) or internal construction products (e. g., drylining, plasterboard, metal framing).
  • Strong specification sales experience, commercial awareness, and the ability to develop long-term relationships.
