The company is an extremely well established family-owned building products manufacturer providing solutions to complex challenges faced by architects, designers, building owners, facility managers, and contractors worldwide. Since they introduced their unique first range of facade products, the business has grown into a global leader across multiple product areas including interior finishing, expansion joint covers, architectural louvers, grilles, solar shading, specialty venting and cubicle curtain systems.

Role Overview

This role involves selling the full range of manufactured finishing products, including interior wall protection, architectural louvers, solar shading façades, and expansion joint covers. It is a specification-led, project-driven role focused on engaging architects early in the design phase. You will deliver CPD presentations, secure product specifications, and manage projects through to completion with main contractors, sub-contractors, and local authorities. The area is extremely well established and has arisen due to a promotion. The territory is the whole of the North West but includes Shropshire, Staffordshire and North Wales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with architects and specifiers
  • Deliver CPD presentations to drive product specification
  • Identify and track projects from early design stage through to completion
  • Work closely with main contractors, sub-contractors, and local authorities
  • Manage a pipeline across multiple sectors with a strong focus on healthcare
  • Ensure successful conversion of specifications into orders

Market Focus

The primary market is healthcare, particularly hospitals. Projects will also include prisons and commercial buildings.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will:

  • Preferably have experience selling facade/envelope products, however experience selling any other construction product through Architects & Contractors is ideal.
  • Be a polished, technically competent and credible sales individual with experience selling into architects.
  • Be project-led in approach, with the ability to manage long sales cycles.
  • Possess a good level of technical understanding.
  • Be professional, polished, and highly capable in front of clients.
