The Company: An extremely well established business, our client is a leading manufacturer and installer of bespoke waste, recycling, linen and clinical chute systems for the UK construction sector. The business operates across high‑rise residential, healthcare, commercial and industrial projects nationwide and has built an excellent reputation for quality, technical expertise and service. With continued growth and a strong pipeline of major projects, they are now looking to appoint a commercially focused Technical Sales Manager to help drive further expansion.
The Opportunity: This is a newly created, project‑led sales role focused on developing specifications and winning major construction projects for a specialist range of commercial waste management solutions. Projects can range up to £500k in value and will involve engagement across the full construction route to market including architects, developers, contractors, councils and NHS frameworks. The role offers significant autonomy and would suit a commercially driven construction sales professional who enjoys developing opportunities from early project stages through to order.
Product Range: You will be responsible for promoting a specialist range of solutions including:
- Recycling & Refuse Chute Systems
- Chute Systems for buildings over 40 storeys
- Clinical Waste Systems
Applications include:
- Hospitals & healthcare facilities
- Commercial buildings
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new project opportunities using platforms such as Barbour ABI
- Generate specifications with architects and consultants through CPD presentations and technical engagement
- Develop relationships with high‑rise developers, contractors and public sector clients
- Manage projects from early design stages through to order placement
- Work closely with NHS‑related projects and framework opportunities
- Build relationships with major contractors and developers
- Support and oversee a small internal sales function
- Collaborate with internal technical and operational teams to ensure successful project delivery
- Attend the office approximately twice per week
