Role

I am working on behalf of a leading manufacturer of Curtain Walling and Aluminium Systems. My client is seeking a Specification Sales Manager to cover the South West and South Wales region. This is a specification-led, project-focused role, selling a broad range of architectural aluminium solutions, including curtain walling, aluminium doors and windows, louvres and much more.

You will focus on winning specifications, working closely with architects, consultants and Tier 1 contractors to secure product specification.

Responsibilities include:

  • Delivering CPD presentations
  • Identifying and tracking commercial projects
  • Securing specifications and initial design intent
  • Working closely with the wider sales team who will help protect specifications through to delivery

My client is a well-established curtain walling and aluminium systems manufacturer. Following recent investment, the business is entering a period of growth and increased market focus.

The Person

I am seeking a technically capable, specification-focused individual with experience selling into architects, consultants and/or Tier 1 contractors. Backgrounds of interest include façades, curtain walling, cladding, glazing, steel framing, metal roofing, partitions, ceilings or fire protection systems. Direct façade experience is advantageous but not essential. This role suits someone seeking long-term career development, as specification sales requires time to build relationships and a project pipeline.
