The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
This newly created, exciting role will give the successful person the responsibility of heading up the technical and product support side of this leading manufacturer's range of pitched roofing ventilation products, everything from roof ventilation, lead replacement, membranes, ductwork, grilles, terminals and seals.
You will be working alongside and supporting the external sales team by utilising your technical knowledge to generate more interest/sales via presentations and technical meetings with the complete range of customers. This will include Architects, Specifiers, Housebuilders, Local Authorities, Contractors, Installers and Merchants.
Your remit will also include training customers on the products as well as dealing with technical enquiries from end users and advising on the technical features and benefits of all the products. Attending sites, exhibitions, shows and conducting CPD presentations are also within your job scope.
Although this is a National role you will need to be based within an hour of the head office in the East Midlands as it includes office involvement. Realistically you need to be located in any of Northamptonshire, Warwickshire, Leicestershire, South Derbyshire, South Nottinghamshire, Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire, Bedfordshire and West Cambridgeshire.

My client is looking for someone who must have extensive technical knowledge of roofing ventilation, particularly in pitched roofing. A need to understand roofing legislation and regulations and the roofing market is crucial. You need to come from a roofing technical sales background. Existing relationships within the roofing industry technical community e.g. National Federation of Roofing Contractors (NFRC) would be a huge advantage. This is a very technical role that has a commercial element to it.
