This role focuses solely on selling a range of imported PVC shower panels and bathroom ceiling panels as a cost-effective alternative to traditional wall tiles. The lightweight PVC products are waterproof, durable, hygienic, easy to install and simple to cut, with no grout required. The range is available in a wide variety of styles and colours to suit different bathroom designs.
The position is heavily focused on new business development, targeting bathroom showrooms and merchants with existing showroom operations. Responsibilities include identifying new opportunities, building relationships with independent retailers and trade merchants, and driving brand growth across the sector. Existing national and regional merchant customers include businesses such as MKM Building Supplies, Trade Plumbing and Cardigan Bathrooms. The region is South Wales, Gloucestershire, Herefordshire, Worcestershire, Avon, Wiltshire.
The ideal candidate is a hungry, tenacious sales professional with a strong track record in opening new doors and winning new business. A background within the KBB sector is preferred, particularly candidates who have experience selling into plumbers’ merchants and bathroom showrooms. Experience within the Plumbing & Heating sector would also be considered advantageous. Candidates with merchant or distributor sales experience would also be of interest, although the preference is for someone with a strong external field sales background rather than internal sales experience.
