My client is a leading manufacturer in the landscaping and construction materials sector, seeking an Area Sales Manager to drive growth across the South East of England including London. You will be responsible for selling a range of landscaping products including grouts, adhesives, and cladding solutions. This position will target Builders Merchants with a strong focus on independents. There may also be some involvement in generating demand with contractors to maximise opportunities. This is a newly created opportunity for my client and has the potential to be very lucrative for the right applicant.

My client is a recognised manufacturer within their sector and has seen continued growth over recent years. This is a very exciting time for them and the successful candidate.

My client is open on the background of the right person but is keen to speak with candidates who have a strong understanding of the merchant sector, with traditional heavyside products or similar construction materials being advantageous. My client may also be open to an individual currently working within a builders' merchant looking to step into a field-based role. You will need to be commercially driven, with the ability to engage new business with independent merchants and target key buying groups to drive growth.
