This role focuses on developing strong relationships with plumbing and heating merchants, supporting key distribution partners, and driving demand creation with installers. You will be tasked with promoting and growing sales of our clients' range of domestic boilers. The territory is already performing strongly and continues to show significant growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow sales through key plumbing and heating merchants, including City Plumbing, Plumb Center, Graham, Plumb City, HPS, Beggs & Partners, Direct Heating, PTS, and PHG members.
- Support and collaborate with major distributors such as F+P and APP, ensuring strong stock profiles, product knowledge, and promotional activity.
- Conduct regular branch visits, sales meetings, training, and sales events to drive volume and maintain strong relationships.
- Deliver product presentations, manage area promotions, and support merchant branch teams to achieve sales targets.
- Build strong relationships with local installers to increase brand preference and pull-through demand.
- Conduct installer training sessions, technical walk-throughs, toolbox talks, and product demonstrations.
- Support installers with product selection, specification, and post-installation queries.
- Identify and onboard new installer partners, promoting loyalty schemes and incentive programs.
Person
- You will have extensive experience within the heating and plumbing industry—manufacturer, merchant, or installer background strongly preferred.
- You will have strong sales and account management expertise with a proven track record of delivering results.
- Excellent relationship-building skills across both merchant and installer audiences.
- Confident communicator with strong presentation and negotiation abilities.
- Self-motivated, organised, and able to operate independently within a target-driven environment.
- Good understanding of domestic heating systems, boilers, and industry regulations (advantageous).
