An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Area Sales Manager to join a well-established and market-leading supplier within the access, scaffolding and construction hire sector. This role is based out of a Manchester depot and covers Lancashire and South Cumbria, managing and developing relationships across contractors, developers, and hire distributors. The position is available due to an internal restructure, offering a strong platform for an ambitious sales professional looking to grow within a successful national business.
You will be responsible for promoting a range of non-mechanical hire and access solutions, developing new business opportunities while maintaining existing customer relationships. Key responsibilities include:
- Selling a portfolio of access and scaffolding-related hire products
- Managing and developing accounts across main contractors, sub contractors and developers
- Building relationships with merchants and hire distributors
- Identifying new business opportunities within the construction sector
- Conducting regular customer site visits across the region
- Working collaboratively with the depot team (attendance expected in branch approximately one day per week)
