Role
As Branch Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day management and commercial success of the branch, overseeing an established business with an annual turnover of £2.2 million.
You’ll lead a team of two employees, driving sales performance, delivering excellent customer service, and ensuring the branch operates efficiently while continuing to grow its market share.
The branch supplies a comprehensive range of specialist construction products, including:
- Structural Waterproofing
- Concrete Repair Systems
You’ll work with some of the industry’s leading manufacturers, including Sika, Fosroc, RIW, Grace, Stirling Lloyd, Weber (Saint-Gobain brands), Pudlo, Visqueen, Mapei, Ardex, and Flexcrete.
A key part of the role is developing and maintaining strong relationships with contractors, groundworkers, and other construction professionals, identifying new business opportunities while maximising existing customer accounts.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the overall performance and profitability of the branch.
- Lead, motivate, and develop a team of two staff.
- Grow sales across the full range of specialist construction products.
- Build and strengthen relationships with contractors, groundworkers, and key accounts.
- Ensure high standards of customer service, stock management, and operational efficiency.
- Work closely with key suppliers to maximise sales opportunities and product availability.
- Deliver against sales and profit targets while identifying opportunities for continued business growth.

You will currently work for a general builders merchant or a civils merchant and understand the daily challenges of running a branch. My client is seeking an ambitious Assistant Branch Manager or a current Branch Manager who can transition across to this business.
