Our client is a leading manufacturer and distributor of technical fixings, fastenings, power tools, hand tools and consumables supplied to the construction and civil engineering sectors. They hold extensive stock levels and pride themselves on excellent customer service and rapid delivery through a large national fleet. Competing with some of the biggest names in the industry, they have built a strong reputation for quality, reliability and technical expertise.
The Role
This is a field-based sales position managing and developing a well-established territory that currently generates over £3m in turnover. You’ll be selling a wide range of technical fixings, fastenings, power tools, hand tools and consumables, targeting larger projects and dealing with main contractors and sub contractors across various sectors including carpentry, civils and drylining. The focus will be on providing technical solutions, assessing product requirements on specific projects and building long-term customer relationships. 60% account management. You’ll work closely with site teams and buyers, discussing technical specifications and offering solutions that deliver real value to their projects.
The Candidate
We’re looking for a driven, ambitious and money-motivated individual who thrives in a technical sales environment. Ideally experienced in construction fixings, fastenings or tools. Must be technically astute with strong communication skills. Full training can be provided for the right person with the right attitude.
