My client is a well-established supplier of plumbing, heating, renewables and bathroom products, representing leading brands including John Guest, Vaillant, Fernox, Scalemaster, Ideal, Wilo, Arctic, Ideal Standard, Bristan, BWT, Rothenberger and Roper Rhodes.
This position is developing business across Leicestershire, focusing on small to medium-sized installers and plumbing & heating engineers.
Your key objectives will be:
- Bringing in new customers (“new faces”) across your territory
- Building strong relationships with small/medium installers and plumbers
- Increasing spend within existing accounts (e.g. growing ÂŁ500 spenders into larger regular accounts)
- Promoting a portfolio of premium, market-leading brands
- Identifying opportunities within renewables and bathroom sectors
- Managing your territory effectively to maximise growth
My client is a privately owned company with an excellent branch network. They have a very healthy turnover stream and are looking to grow and drive forward sales for 2026 and beyond.
Experience in plumbing & heating sales (merchant or manufacturer background preferred)
Strong knowledge of plumbing, heating or renewables products
Proven track record of winning new business
Ability to grow and develop existing accounts
Self-motivated, target-driven and organised
Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills
