  • Company: Market-leading bathrooms manufacturer known for quality and service.
  • Benefits: 25 days holiday, hybrid car option, and an uncapped bonus scheme.
  • Other info: Manage a demanding region with high-profile accounts and significant revenue potential.
  • Why this job: Join a dynamic team and make a real impact in the construction industry.
  • Qualifications: Adaptable sales skills and understanding of unique selling points.

The predicted salary is between 40000 - 50000 £ per year.

You will be tasked with selling the wide & varied range of Bathroom products. This would include showering, wetrooms, trays, screens and also a care range that they take to market.

Your customer base will be:

  • 50% Local Authorities & Housing Associations: Councils like Wakefield, Doncaster, Sheffield, Leeds. You will be tasked with the following:
  • Approved product lists.
  • Influence long-term frameworks.
  • Drive large-scale refurb/adaptation programs (e.g. disabled bathrooms).

Winning here = getting your products written into specs. Losing here = you’re constantly fighting fires downstream.

  • 40% Contractors: This is where specs get broken. Even if a council specifies my clients products, contractors may:
  • Switch to cheaper alternatives.
  • Use what they’re familiar with.
  • Respond to merchant availability.

Your job is to:

  • Build loyalty with installers (ease of install matters a lot).
  • Stay visible on active projects.
  • Solve problems quickly (stock, fitting issues, replacements).

Large contractors (like Wates, Mears, Clark & Partners, Mitie, etc.) are especially important because one relationship can influence multiple projects.

  • 10% Merchants: Merchants like TP Managed Services. If your product isn’t stocked, it won’t get used. If competitors are pushed harder at branch level, you lose volume.

The region is managing East, South and West Yorkshire. Although the region size is relatively small, the patch is very demanding with a significant revenue stream and some extremely high profile accounts.

Company: Market leading company with unrivalled levels of service and product quality.

Person: My client wants an adaptable sales person who can change their technique dependent on who they are selling to. Someone who can sell on F+B’s and understands USP’s is crucial. My client is completely open on which product you sell currently, just as long as you are adaptable and professional in your approach.

Package: 25 days, hybrid car or opt out, uncapped bonus scheme.
