This role involves selling a comprehensive portfolio of commercial and industrial heating, ventilation, and air movement solutions. You will be responsible for selling high-quality, engineered solutions into a mixed route-to-market. Customers include installers, main contractors, M&E contractors, end users, consultants, and facilities management providers.
Typical projects include warehouses, workshops, logistics centres, manufacturing facilities, and large commercial buildings. This is a very consultative and solution-led sale, requiring site surveys, client meetings, and technical assessments to ensure the most appropriate system is specified for each client's needs. This is not a price-driven sale.
You will manage and develop relationships with existing customers, re-engage dormant accounts, and proactively identify and secure new business opportunities. Covering the North West, Wales, and the West Midlands, this is an extremely important area for my client and has the potential to be very lucrative for the successful candidate.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience selling through M&E contractors, with a strong preference for individuals who understand a cradle-to-grave project sales approach. This is a heavily new-business-focused role, so you must be highly motivated, driven, and confident in proactively approaching and developing customers.
You will need to be commercially astute, proactive, and comfortable operating in a consultative led sales environment. As my client's products sit at the premium end of the market, the ability to sell on value, performance, and long-term benefits rather than price is essential.
I am open to candidates from a variety of commercial backgrounds as they do not require prior experience within a direct competitor or an engineering-led role as full product and technical training will be provided. This role would suit a highly driven sales professional who is eager to grow, develop, and build a long-term career within a forward-thinking, expanding organisation.
