Role: These roles will be selling a range of Heating & Plumbing products across the domestic heating, hot water and renewable energy markets.
The customer split is approximately 30% specification, focused predominantly on social housing providers and local authorities, with a smaller amount of developer business. A further 30% will focus on installers, 20% on merchants and 20% on OEMs.
The business is an established manufacturer and supplier within the Heating & Plumbing sector. The territories are performing well, and the opportunity has arisen following a wider restructure.
The hiring manager is looking for two high-calibre salespeople from a Heating & Plumbing or HVAC background with strong knowledge of the sector and its customer base. They are particularly interested in sales individuals on the way up — someone ambitious, hungry and ready to take the next step in their careers.
The ideal candidates will have the ability to generate demand with social housing providers, local authorities and/or developers, rather than simply manage existing accounts. Individuals with a strong installer-led background will also be considered. External merchant sales experience is also useful, particularly for someone who has developed strong customer relationships, generated new business and can demonstrate a proactive approach to growing a territory.
