The Role
We are recruiting for an experienced Area Sales Manager to cover Scotland. This role is focused on developing new business while managing and nurturing an established customer base. The successful candidate will promote a comprehensive portfolio of HVAC equipment to M&E consultants, contractors, and end users. This is a home-based role with occasional travel to UK offices as required. You must be based in Scotland.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote a full range of HVAC solutions to consultants, contractors and end users
- Manage existing accounts while driving new business opportunities
- Deliver technical presentations and product guidance
- Develop strong relationships to secure specifications and orders
- Work to agreed KPIs and sales targets
- Provide accurate reporting and maintain CRM updates
- Arrange client meetings, assess requirements and propose solutions
- Offer high-quality communication and technical support throughout the sales process
Experience Required
- Minimum 3 years B2B field sales
- Proven track record of success within a technical sales environment
- Working with M&E consultants and contractors
- Minimum 2 years HVAC sales experience
- Strong commercial awareness and ability to identify opportunities
- Capable of managing the full sales cycle and building long-term relationships
- Product training or experience in HVAC or associated equipment
