South West / South Wales Territory & Scotland. Salary: £50,000 – £55,000. Bonus: £6,000 – £8,000. Benefits: Company car or car allowance, pension, laptop, phone, 25 days holiday + statutory holidays.

A well-established supplier within the drainage and water management sector is looking to recruit an Area Sales Manager to manage a well-developed territory across the South West / South Wales and Scotland.

The Role

You will be responsible for promoting a full range of channel and linear drainage systems used within major construction and infrastructure projects. Projects include:

  • Car parks
  • Sports facilities
  • Airports
  • Roads and infrastructure projects

The role will involve working directly with groundworkers. In addition, you will support sales through national and independent civils merchants, building relationships and generating pull-through demand.

The Ideal Candidate

My client is looking for someone with experience within drainage, civils or heavyside construction products. Suitable backgrounds may include:

  • Drainage or civils manufacturers
  • Heavyside product manufacturers
  • Merchant sales representatives with strong contractor relationships

Commercially driven and proactive, comfortable working with contractors and specification contacts, able to develop business through both direct and merchant channels.

  • 25 days holiday + bank holidays (rising with service)
