CourtCorrect, the market-leading AI startup for complaints resolution in the UK, is hiring for an exceptional and highly motivated Manual QA Tester (with growth into Automation) to join our Engineering Team and help us deliver our vision justice for all while enabling the company to sustain dramatic growth.

The Role

We are looking for a Manual QA Tester who is curious, detail-oriented, and passionate about quality. You’ll play a key role in ensuring our product is reliable, user-friendly, and scalable as we continue to grow.

In this role, you will primarily focus on manual testing of our web applications and backend services, but we are also looking for someone who is motivated to develop automation skills over time. This is an ideal opportunity for a tester who wants to grow into an SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test) role.

What You’ll Do

  • Execute manual testing across web and API layers, ensuring features meet functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Write clear, reproducible bug reports and work closely with engineers to resolve issues.
  • Test across multiple environments and browsers to ensure cross-compatibility.
  • Develop, maintain, and execute test cases, regression suites and test passes.
  • Collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering to define acceptance criteria and ensure quality is built in from the start.
  • Learn and gradually take ownership of writing automated tests (end-to-end, integration, and regression).
  • Contribute to building a culture of quality within the engineering team.

What We’re Looking For

Must-haves

  • 1–3 years of experience in manual testing (web or SaaS products preferred).Strong attention to detail and ability to think from a user’s perspective.
  • Experience with bug tracking and test case management tools (e.g. Jira, TestRail).
  • Familiarity with QA methodologies, regression testing, and exploratory testing.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • A proactive and curious mindset, eager to learn automation and new tools.

Nice-to-haves (or willingness to learn)

  • Basic understanding of REST APIs and tools like Postman.
  • Exposure to automation frameworks (e.g. Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or Pytest).
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git).
  • Interest in Python (our backend language) and/or JavaScript (our frontend stack).
  • Experience with AI and LLMs
