The pensions practice is known for its technical excellence, commercial insight, and solution-led advice. The team supports a broad range of stakeholders—including employers, trustees, insurers, and consultants—on the full spectrum of pension law and practice. Their advice is tailored, responsive, and delivered in plain language, ensuring clarity and impact across both private and public sectors.
Key areas of expertise include:
- Establishment and day-to-day operation of trust-based occupational pension schemes, life assurance schemes, and private healthcare trusts, covering regulatory, compliance, and governance matters
- Advising on participation in and management of public service pension schemes
- Supporting transactions and projects, including pensions aspects of M&A and corporate restructurings
- Advising on investment strategy and scheme funding, including buy-ins and buy-outs
