  • Supporting the day-to-day operations of the business
  • Identifying opportunities to strengthen relationships with new and existing customers
  • Supporting the Business Development and Sales team by identifying and sharing potential customer opportunities, new contacts, and lead information
  • Maintaining accurate customer and prospect information to support business growth
  • Identifying opportunities to secure backloads and return work where viable to maximise vehicle utilisation and operational efficiency by reducing empty mileage
  • Ensuring excellent service standards are maintained at all times

What We're Looking For (Essential)

  • A minimum of 1 year’s experience within a commercial logistics, transport, buyer, sales, or similar operational role
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Commercial awareness and sound decision-making skills
  • Confidence working independently and as part of a wider team
  • A positive, proactive, and professional attitude

Qualifications

No specific academic qualifications are required. We value attitude, professionalism, reliability, and a willingness to learn above all else.

What We Offer

  • Free onsite parking
  • Free gym membership (within walking distance)
  • 28-days per year Holiday incl. Bank Holidays (all staff required to work Bank Holidays in rotation)
  • A varied and rewarding role with a growing logistics business
  • A supportive, inclusive and relaxed team environment
  • The opportunity to work alongside nationally and internationally recognised organisations across the aviation, aerospace & defence, industrial, maritime, rail and medical sectors
