Overview

Part time computer technician required with experience of repairing laptops and PC\'s. Ideally, the successful applicant will be able to diagnose and rectify various hardware and software issues and should be able to strip down and rebuild laptops and PCs. Soldering ability is a definite advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and rectify hardware and software issues on laptops and PCs.
  • Strip down and rebuild laptops and PCs as required.
  • Open and close the shop when scheduled.
  • Call previous customers to discuss new services and provide updates as needed.

Working hours

Hours will be 3 days out of 5, Monday to Friday, 10:00–16:00 with 1 hour for lunch. Days will usually be different every week and are not swappable, so the applicant must therefore be available 5 days per week. Subject to work availability, the working week may be increased to 5 or 6 days.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience repairing laptops and PCs.
  • Ability to diagnose hardware and software issues.
  • Soldering ability is an advantage.
  • Good communication skills.

Notes

A test will be performed at the interview to test I.T. skills.
