The civilian committee provides support to the uniformed team and adult volunteers that deliver the training programmes for the cadets by managing the non-public funds of the squadron. They also raise funds to enable the broadest range of activities to be delivered to cadets. In addition, they are there to provide support in any welfare issues within the squadron.
Any committee member will be required to complete a DBS check and BPSS as part of the application process. The committee is required to meet a minimum of 4 times per year and support the squadron at other key events during the year including Annual Formal Inspection, Presentation Evening and Remembrance Sunday Parade.
