Keystage 2 (KS2) Teacher

We have a client school based on the outskirts of Cheshunt who are looking for a KS2 Teacher to join their team from January 2025. The selected candidate would be required to take on a maternity cover, currently lasting two-terms. This is on a full-time basis, in a Year 4 class.

The school is rated “Good” by Ofsted and are well on their way to becoming an “Outstanding” school. Any class teacher working with them, on a temporary basis or not, will be expected to maintain these standards. The class are a bright bunch who are always eager to learn and are very respectful. The school is one-form entry to the staff work very well together as a close-knit community – any candidate looking to apply would need to be able to work with a team in this manner.

Despite the position currently only lasting two-terms, the school potentially need some cover in Key Stage 2 on a permanent bass. Whilst this is not set in stone, it is a factor that potential candidates could definitely consider, should they wish for further opportunity beyond a temporary contract.
