A historic and well-resourced school in Hertford has asked County Teachers to supply them with an Early Year Practitioner as of January 2025, for two terms. Due to potential staff shuffling in the Early Years Unit, the school are not yet sure of the year group that the selected candidate will be working in. It is therefore desired, though not essential, that applicants have experience with both Nursery and Reception age.
The school is accepting CVs from both experienced teachers and newly qualified, providing they are of an Outstanding standard. The position has arisen due to a member of the unit announcing the lovely news of her pregnancy. It is expected that this will only be a temporary contract but should the selected individual prove to be of Outstanding quality and raise standards in the class, an extension or permanent contract would be considered.
If you are up for this challenge, then please email your CV to or call to be considered for the role. We are committed to safeguarding children and young people. All post holders are subject to our full vetting procedures and policies.
