County Marquees is looking for an experienced Marquee Professional to join our installation teams and help us to deliver exceptional event structures across London and the South East. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with proven marquee construction experience who’s ready to step into a senior position with responsibility and room to grow.
ABOUT THE ROLE
You will be one of our senior team on site, making sure every structure is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard. You will liaise with clients, solve problems on the ground, and represent the company with politeness and professionalism at every event.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Playing a major part in marquee erection and dismantling teams on‑site
- Planning layouts, overseeing installation quality, and ensuring structural safety
- Training and guiding less experienced crew members
- Managing equipment, transport, and site logistics
- Communicating clearly with clients and office staff
- Ensuring deadlines are met without compromising standards
What We’re Looking For
- Significant experience in marquee erection (clearspan, traditional, stretch or similar)
- Strong leadership skills and the confidence to run a site independently if required
- Excellent problem‑solving ability and a calm, practical approach
- High level of physical fitness and willingness to work outdoors in all weathers
- Full driving licence (towing experience an advantage)
- A commitment to delivering top‑quality work every time
