Due to rapid expansion, County Lifting are seeking an experienced HIAB Operator/Driver to join our growing team. We are a family run company, specialising in the provision of engineering and lifting solutions. Based in Kettering (near the A14) we offer our services locally and UK wide. Company growth has afforded us the opportunity to expand our talented team. As a HIAB Operator/Driver, you would be an integral part of our day-to-day operations.

Summary of responsibilities:

  • Safe operation of HIAB vehicles
  • Transportation of goods to designated locations
  • Loading/unloading of cargo using appropriate lifting equipment
  • Ensure all deliveries are made on time and in accordance with company policies and procedures
  • Daily inspections of assigned vehicle for any mechanical issues
  • Reporting of maintenance requirements of vehicle
  • Maintaining cleanliness levels of the vehicle
  • The maintenance of accurate records of PODs
  • Adherence to all traffic laws and regulations whilst operating the vehicle
  • Adherence to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment

Required experience:

  • Previous HIAB operation experience (within the lifting industry)
  • Class 1 licence required as minimum, but Class 2 preferred
  • Ability to operate various types of commercial vehicles safely and efficiently
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

Benefits:
