County Insurance Services provide an extensive range of bespoke insurance policies for private clients and businesses throughout the UK. Our specialisms include farming, rural business and thatch/period listed houses. We’ve been providing insurance to the rural community for over 40 years. We pride ourselves on building long-term relationships with both our clients and our colleagues.
We are looking for continued growth and are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Team Manager to join our independent and family run insurance brokerage. This role is a vital part in providing exceptional customer service and to ensure the smooth running of the staffing resources within the farm and business teams.
Key Responsibilities- Support the Managing Director & Sales Director to ensure the smooth running of the staffing resources within the business and farm departments.
- Supervise, manage and motivate team members to create a client centric service offering within a successful & collaborative working environment.
- Promote accountability, innovation and positivity within the teams.
- Inspire the team to achieve company goals and monitor & report on agreed service standards.
- Ensure customer service standards remain high and continually look for ways to improve.
- Responsible for the delivery of the team’s new business quotations, renewal issues, midterm adjustments and cancellations in a timely manner ensuring the right resources are available to enable the business to perform.
- GCSE Grade C/4 and above, English & Maths.
- To already hold Cert CII accreditation or complete it within 2 years of joining County (through a fully funded apprenticeship scheme or self study).
- At least 2 years team leading/management experience, ideally in commercial insurance or potentially in personal insurance.
- Solve business issues by developing an expert knowledge of processes and best practices, as well as process improvement.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time and prioritise in a fast-paced working environment.
- Applicants should be highly self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
