Due to expansion, opportunities have arisen to join our team of experienced coach drivers based at Luton Airport. Our work is extremely varied, including tours, day trips, private hires, night time and schedule service cover. Please note: private hires and shift start times vary daily based on customer requests within the UK and Europe. We do not do any school to home services.
We have invested in another 15 new coaches and buses within the last 18 months and have a range of vehicles from 61 execs to 19 seat executives that you will be expected to deliver services to high standards with smart driver presentation and a positive attitude. You will be expected to represent our brands, Coachhire4u, Theobolds, and Seaxes Travel.
The package is based on a full-time position, where you can earn £43,000 per annum including productivity bonus, annual retention bonus, plus customer tips for delivering a great service. If you are looking for a part-time position, then we are happy to discuss an hourly rate for you.
If you are currently a bus driver and wish to convert to a private hire coach driver, training will be provided, but be aware private hire coach driving is very different. You are the ambassador for us and our clients; you will be expected to plan your journeys managing width and height restrictions, greet passengers, load luggage, manage drivers' hours and comfort stops, all with a smile on your face.
Driver Requirements:- Valid UK PCV Driving License
- Valid CPC Qualification
- Digital Tachograph
- Live within a commutable distance (accommodation can be facilitated if required)
- Valid Cat D Licence
- Excellent passenger communication
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
- Maintain a safe driving record

- Ability to pre-plan journeys
