County Care Independent Living Ltd is seeking a passionate and proactive Team Leader to help lead our dedicated support team. You’ll play a key role in enabling people with learning disabilities to live fulfilling, independent, and socially inclusive lives – all while ensuring the highest standards of care and compliance.

We’re looking for an organised, proactive team player with experience in care, great people skills, and a genuine passion for supporting and empowering others.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise, develop, and motivate staff to deliver meaningful, high-quality support.
  • Plan and allocate resources to meet service user needs effectively.
  • Support new service user referrals, ensuring smooth onboarding and transition into services.
  • Maintain compliance with CQC, safeguarding, and health & safety requirements.
  • Ensure personalised support plans promote independence, wellbeing, and community inclusion.
  • Foster strong relationships with service users, families, and professionals.
  • Conduct and support staff appraisals to encourage growth and development.
  • Drive service quality, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Manage budgets, maximise occupancy, and ensure cost efficiency, including procurement of goods and services.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience working in the care industry.
  • Strong organisation and problem-solving skills.
  • Commitment to person-centred care and safeguarding.
  • Knowledge of CQC standards and care legislation.
  • Strong IT skills for record-keeping, reporting, and communication.
  • NVQ Level 3 qualification would be advantageous.
  • ESSENTIAL: A valid UK driving licence and access to a car.
  • Willing to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
