Mortgage Services Development Manager This is an excellent opportunity for an existing Mortgage Advisor to take their first step into a management role after approximately 12 to 18 months, with an OTE of £65k. Purpose: To provide supervisory support to the Mortgage Services Sales Manager and achieve revenue and product sales as a Mortgage Advisor. Responsibilities: Support and develop less experienced colleagues. Supervise mortgage advisors, ensuring all T & C requirements are met, as agreed with the Sales Manager. Knowledge Required: Strong understanding of core financial products such as Mortgages, Life Assurance, Critical Illness, Income Protection, and Buildings & Contents Insurance. Knowledge of secondary services like Conveyancing and Estate Agency operations. Technical and e-commerce knowledge to promote services effectively. Understanding of Financial Services compliance rules specific to mortgage and protection business. Experience working within a Training and Competence framework. Proven track record in sales and customer service environments. Strong organizational, negotiation, and influencing skills. Ability to identify business opportunities and motivate others. Effective client needs analysis skills. Experience and Qualifications: At least two years in financial services, with nine months as a Senior Mortgage Advisor preferred. Consistent performance in business production and quality. Knowledge of latest products and market developments. Relevant professional qualifications such as CeMAP or equivalent. Internal applicants should inform their line manager.
