Job Title Weighbridge Operator Location : Thames Road, Dartford, DA1 5QJ Salary: £13.25 per hour Job Type: Fixed Term Contract, Full-time Working Hours: 45 Hours, Monday to Sunday (rota) About Us: Countrystyle Recycling is part of Heathcote Holdings, a family-run group of complementary, innovative and customer-centric companies. Countrystyle is a trusted local provider of waste services to Local Authorities, Multinationals and businesses in Kent, London and the South East. About the role: To ensure the smooth operation of the weighbridge facility at Thames Road and act as a point of contact for our customers. This role is a 3-month fixed-term contract with a potential to extend as needed. Duties and Responsibilities: Directing traffic coming onto site and operating the weighbridge in line with Company policies and procedures. Checking incoming loads, ensuring compliance with site licenses and permitted waste types, and completing all appropriate documentation. Acquainting yourself with the Council’s weighbridge management system for operating the Reuse & Recycling Centre’s weighbridge at Thames Road. Processing delivery notes and tickets accurately and efficiently. Ensuring weighbridge customers are aware of site rules and distribute information and guidance accordingly.
