About Us: Countrystyle Recycling are proud to operate the largest independent fleet of modern waste management vehicles in Kent, London and the South East. Our fleet vehicles include dustcarts, skip trucks, hook loaders and bulk haulage lorries.
About the role: To support and assist the Commercial team in planning, developing and implementing strategy for the production of various fuels for use in EfW and biomass plant in the UK and Europe and for the production of recycled gypsum powder. To provide cover (as necessary) for the operation of the Ridham weighbridge.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Compile the relevant KCC, Suffolk and Kingston contract KPI suite on a weekly and monthly basis, in arrears, that details the number of loads sent from external suppliers, where they were sourced from, individual load weights and the quality of each load.
- Assist with raising all TFS Regulation pre-notifications as required under the Regulations and as necessary to meet our end user requirements and CRL's stock management.
- Ensure all pre-notifications are complete accurately, sent to all relevant Regulators in advance, within the specified time limits, that pre-notes are returned fully completed and subsequently sent to all of the relevant Regulators within the specified time limits.
- Take bookings from internal and external customers for all recyclate load movements.
- Organise all appropriate internal or external logistics to move brokered recyclables loads as required.
- Book in loads with end recyclate processing customers. This includes securing all references and circulating these to all parties as required.
- Raise and reconcile appropriate purchase orders and both sales and purchase invoices.
- Assist with recyclable rebates for all relevant customers.
- Assist with the administration associated with annual price reviews and adjustments/increases.
- Compile Quarterly Waste Returns to be submitted to the Environment Agency.
- Assist Fuel Resourcing Manager and Waste Output Manager with daily, weekly and monthly forecasting for incoming and outgoing tonnage data to ensure annual budgets are achieved.
- Direct traffic entering and exiting site via the weighbridge in line with the weighbridge operating manual.
- Check incoming loads, ensuring compliance with site permit conditions including permitted European Waste Codes.
- Accurately record weights and waste type by vehicle, completing appropriate documentation and signatures.
- Ensure the haulier has an up-to-date Waste Carrier's Licence and Waste Transfer Note per movement or an annual WTN.
- Immediately report any contamination or non-performing wastes delivered to site.
- Ensure weighbridge customers are aware of the site rules and distribute guidance.
- Staff have a duty to take care of their own health and safety and that of others who may be affected by their actions at work.
- Staff must co-operate, report unsafe conditions and comply with the company management systems and safe systems of work as well as co-workers to help everyone meet their legal requirements.
