Job Title: Class 2 Driver (Trade Waste) – PM Shift
Location: Ridham Dock Road, Sittingbourne, Kent, ME9 8SR
Salary: £17.79 per hour
Hours: Monday – Friday 48hr (approximately 2pm start time) you may be required to work overtime on Saturdays

About the role:
To drive Company dustcarts for the collection and emptying of customer waste bins and sacks.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Complete all daily vehicle checks and fill out the Vehicle Defect sheet at the start and end of each shift
- Ensure all CCTV cameras are functional and inward-facing cameras are positioned correctly before starting work
- Report defects, including tyre issues, to the Fleet Office
- Complete all assigned tasks within the working day
- Submit all paperwork accurately and on time
- Maintain regular communication with the Fleet Office, reporting any issues or incidents immediately
- Refuel vehicles upon returning to the yard or depot
- Attend end-of-day debriefing with the Fleet Office for advice on the next day\’s work
- Secure all loads to prevent waste or debris from falling during transit
- Wear the required PPE when collecting or delivering to customers and Countrystyle sites
- Report all accidents and incidents immediately to the Fleet Office or Compliance Team and obtain necessary details
- Take responsibility for your own health and safety and that of others
- Cooperate with company management systems, report unsafe conditions, and comply with safe work practices and legal requirements
About you:
- Good communication skills
- Ability to prioritise workload to meet deadlines
- Customer Service skills
- 2 years HGV driving experience
- HGV Class 2 licence
- Current CPC and digi-tacho
