We have an exciting opportunity for a Timber Frame Trainee to join Vistry Group. As our Trainee, you will learn the trade of erecting pre-manufactured timber frame homes on our construction sites. This is a brand-new trainee programme launching this year!

With increasing demand for sustainable housing, faster build times, reduced vulnerability to labour shortages, and improved energy efficiency, timber frame construction is emerging as a strong and innovative alternative to traditional brick and block methods. As a Timber Frame Installer Trainee, you will be immersed in both the theoretical and practical aspects of the role, focusing on the successful implementation of works on project sites. You will learn about health, safety, and environmental principles related to timber frame construction, as well as Quality Assurance processes and procedures associated with Vistry's products and services.

You will also gain understanding of build programmes, product/component scheduling, build sequencing, project-specific specifications, technical design, and customer service elements related to timber frame operations.

Alongside practical experience, you will work towards a Level 2 Construction Assembly Installation Operative Apprenticeship, in partnership with Barnsley College. You will be working in a group of four, with the anticipated site location around the Leeds area.
