Overview

An excellent opportunity has arisen to work for Hart District Council’s multi-award-winning Countryside Department.

The Trainee Ranger will support the Ranger Team to provide safe, well managed and welcoming countryside sites.

Qualifications

  • Completed some volunteering in conservation or habitat management.
  • GCSE Grade 4/C (or equivalent) in Maths and English.
  • Ability to take ownership of tasks, challenges, and problems to achieve an appropriate outcome.
  • Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office software.
  • Hold a current driving license.

A flexible approach to working is essential as some weekend and evening hours are required.
