Salary: £31,022 to £36,363, per annum

Contract: Full time (37 hours per week), fixed term until February 2028

Location: Grassington and Pateley Bridge (working across both sites as part of a 50/50 split role)

We’re looking for a Natural Health Service Coordinator to join our Access and Engagement Team, working across a partnership project with Nidderdale National Landscape.

In this role, you’ll design and deliver a 10‑week social prescribing programme.

The Role

The role involves regular travel between the Yorkshire Dales and Nidderdale, where your time and delivery will be split evenly. Additional travel costs beyond your normal commute will be reimbursed in line with our policies.

You’ll deliver inclusive walking and nature‑based activities that support people experiencing poor mental or physical health to become more active.

Key Responsibilities

  • Co‑design and deliver structured 10‑week green social prescribing programmes across North Yorkshire, particularly in Skipton, Harrogate and surrounding rural areas
  • Deliver safe, inclusive and accessible activities that support people with a range of needs, including those experiencing mental health challenges, long‑term conditions and social isolation
  • Build and maintain strong referral pathways with health, social care and voluntary sector partners
  • Recruit, support and supervise volunteers involved in programme delivery

About you

You’ll bring experience of delivering outdoor group activities.

You’ll also have:

  • Awareness of health and safety in outdoor settings
  • Experience supporting volunteers
  • Confidence working with a wide range of people, including vulnerable adults, and an understanding of safeguarding principles
  • Ability to build relationships with health, social care and community partners
