Dry Stone Waller - North Lakes (Fixed-Term, 3 Months) - Ullswater Countryside Management

Location: North Lakes, Cumbria

Contract: Fixed-term, 3 months (with potential for extension)

Start Date: ASAP

We’re looking for an experienced Dry Stone Waller to join our team working on projects across the North Lakes area. The role involves the construction and repair of traditional dry stone walls in upland and exposed conditions, so previous experience in similar environments is essential.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience in dry stone walling, particularly in upland or rural conditions
• Experience in stone pitching and associated groundworks is highly desirable
• Strong physical fitness, must be capable of working outdoors in all weather and walking over rough, steep terrain
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good attention to detail and pride in high-quality workmanship
• Experience in landscaping or countryside management work is an advantage
