What you’ll do
Working for a beat forester, works supervisor within a small beat team of forest craftspeople, you’ll work as part of the team delivering practical forest management tasks, shaping the forest for future generations. The district is commercially focused with large thinning, felling and restocking programmes, the core work will be focused to enable implementation of these. Forest Craftspersons are expected to work in all weather with a standard 37 hour week usually 7.00-15.00 (14.30 Fridays) with occasional overtime to meet operational requirements.

The post is based in East England Forest District with a starting point based from Santon Downham, Brandon, Suffolk.
