ABOUT THE SENIOR CARE ASSISTANT ROLE

Within your role as a Senior Care Assistant, you can really make a difference to our residents' lives. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Aiding residents emotional well-being and social needs
  • Administration and monitoring of medications to residents
  • Supporting residents at meals time
  • Mentor & assist new employees
  • Implement, monitor and review care plans to meet residents specific needs
  • Plan, allocate & supervise the work of the team of care assistants

  • Experience as a Senior Care Assistant & leading a team
  • Be no stranger to working night shifts
  • Have a friendly & caring attitude
  • Able to engage well with the residents and their families
  • Have an understanding of people with Dementia
  • NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social care or willing to work towards this
  • Great communication skills, both written & verbal
