Are you a skilled engineer looking to join a growing and successful food manufacturing business, with family values?

We are recruiting Multi Skilled Shift Engineers to support our production operations across our sites in Leeds, Berwick, Bridlington and Kettering.

Working as part of the Engineering team, you will play a key role in maintaining plant and equipment, minimising downtime, and driving continuous improvement across the site.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance.
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults.
  • Ensure plant and equipment operate safely and efficiently.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve reliability and performance.
  • Maintain high standards of GMP, hygiene, quality, and health & safety.
  • Complete maintenance records accurately and on time.
  • Support contractor management and site projects as required.

About You

  • Fully qualified, time-served Engineer or NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in an Engineering discipline.
  • Experience within manufacturing, food production, working both days and nights.
  • FMCG, or a similar fast-paced environment.
  • Strong electrical and/or mechanical fault-finding skills.
  • Knowledge of health & safety and safe systems of work.
  • Reliable, proactive, and capable of working under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
