Behind every Aston Martin is a network of suppliers, commercial partnerships and strategic decisions that help deliver the extraordinary. We're looking for a Buyer (Indirect) to join our Procurement team at Gaydon. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of a key procurement area, working with suppliers, stakeholders and programme teams to help deliver the products, services and components that support one of the world's most iconic luxury brands.

Procurement at Aston Martin is a business-critical function. The decisions we make influence profitability, programme delivery, quality and operational performance. As a Buyer, you'll play an important role in securing the best commercial outcomes, building strong supplier relationships and ensuring Aston Martin continues to deliver excellence across every area of the business.

You'll be responsible for developing and executing sourcing and commodity strategies across your Indirect Procurement category, remaining closely connected to market developments, emerging suppliers, industry trends and legislative changes. Through strong commercial awareness and data-driven analysis, you'll help shape sourcing decisions that support both short and long-term business objectives.

Working closely with colleagues from across the organisation, you'll provide commercial expertise and procurement support to cross-functional teams, helping ensure programmes are delivered successfully, risks are mitigated and value is maximised at every stage of the process.

You'll lead negotiations with existing and prospective suppliers, securing commercially advantageous agreements while maintaining the highest standards of quality, cost and delivery. Building trusted supplier relationships will be central to your success, helping create a resilient and high-performing supply base capable of supporting Aston Martin's ambitions both today and in the future.

You'll monitor supplier performance, identify improvement opportunities and help drive continuous improvement initiatives across both the supply chain and the wider business. From cost savings and sourcing activities through to supplier strategy and risk management, your work will have a direct impact on Procurement's success and the overall performance of Aston Martin.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, influencing decisions and working in an environment where commercial thinking and collaboration are highly valued. You'll have exposure to a broad range of stakeholders, opportunities to develop your expertise and the chance to play a meaningful role in shaping Aston Martin's future success.

We're looking for someone with previous procurement experience and a passion for delivering commercial value. Experience within the automotive industry would be advantageous but it isn't essential. What matters most is your ability to build strong relationships, manage competing priorities and approach challenges with a proactive and solutions-focused mindset. You'll be commercially aware, highly organised and comfortable working with data to support decision-making. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with the ability to influence stakeholders and navigate a fast-paced and evolving business environment.

A degree-level qualification is required, while full CIPS membership or progress towards achieving it would be advantageous. You'll also hold a full driving licence and be willing to travel when business needs require.

What makes this role special is the opportunity to see the impact of your decisions. Every negotiation, supplier partnership and sourcing strategy contributes to the success of Aston Martin. You'll join a passionate team, work alongside talented colleagues and help shape the future of one of the most admired luxury automotive brands in the world.

If you're ready to develop your procurement career within a business that combines heritage, innovation and ambition unlike any other, we'd love to hear from you.

At Aston Martin, we believe that the stunning beauty, craftsmanship, and artistry that define our brand come from the diverse voices and talents of our extraordinary team. We are committed to fostering a culture where everyone feels valued, respected, and empowered to thrive. Your unique perspectives, shaped by your education, culture, ethnicity, race, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, religion, abilities, and more, are what make us stronger and more innovative. We celebrate the richness of diversity and actively seek individuals who bring something new to the table.

If you require any accommodations or support during the application process, please don't hesitate to reach out. We're here to ensure that you can bring your best, in every way. Let's build something remarkable together.

The post holder will be required to comply with all policies and procedures issued by and on behalf of Aston Martin Lagonda Ltd.
