Are you an organised, self-motivated individual with a passion for supporting rural businesses and communities? Become a vital part of our dynamic team at the Country Land and Business Association (CLA) as a Regional Coordinator/Administrator in the Midlands Region.

The CLA is a membership organisation for owners of land, property and businesses in rural England and Wales. Our members are creating jobs in the countryside, growing businesses, feeding the nation, fighting climate change and reversing nature decline. The CLA Midlands team work in a converted barn in a quiet, rural setting. The successful candidate will be part of a small, hardworking and fun team, who are very passionate about the Organisation and rural affairs in general. They will also work collaboratively with the CLA’s supportive team of over one hundred highly motivated individuals in the membership, finance, marketing, external affairs and advisory teams, in London and across the other five regions in England and Wales.

What You’ll Do:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for members, handling enquiries and delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Manage office operations, including overseeing the day to day running of the office to facilitate the smooth running of the office, maintaining filing systems, organising office supplies, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Provide administrative support for regional activities, including meeting organisation, minute-taking, and travel arrangements.
  • Assist with CLA Midlands events and coordinate stakeholder meetings with local authorities and other key players.
  • Support the Regional Director and team members with administrative tasks to ensure seamless operations.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with CRM systems, particularly MS Dynamics.
  • Experience in office management and providing high-quality administrative support.

Location: CLA Midlands, Knightley, Woodseaves, Gnosall, Stafford, ST20 0JW. Salary: £26,000 - £28,000 per annum depending on experience. Hours: 35 hours per week, 9am – 5pm, Monday to Friday (Travel and overnight stays will sometimes be required. Around branch committees, shows and events, additional hours may be required for which time off in lieu will be given). Working arrangements: Homeworking possible up to 2 days per week (due to certain busy periods during show and events season, this can be variable depending on the needs of the business).
